Fine Dining in a Casual Setting
The Old Village Hall Restaurant & Pub in Lanesboro, MN is nestled in the heart of bluff country. The stone building was originally built in 1886 as the village hall, fire station and jail and is currently on the historic registry. Join us for a fine dining experience in a casual setting. Dine on the spacious deck overlooking the flowers and the Root River Bike Trail or in the cozy upstairs dining room surrounded by authentic Amish quilts and local artwork. Enjoy our homemade bread, soups, fine entree choices and specials, but remember, our menu changes seasonally, so come and try our most current dishes. There is always a delicious variety of desserts.
About our Restaurant
Old Village Hall Restaurant & Pub first opened its doors the summer
of 1994. The owners, Jon & Sarah Pieper, returned to southeastern
Minnesota to create a restaurant that would
and weekly specials to incorporate this philosophy. Jon loves to go to the St. Charles Amish farmers market to get fresh, local produce. We also keep an herb garden behind the restaurant for beauty and to incorporate fresh-picked herbs for today's menu.
If you are a dessert lover, Mike always has several wonderful dessert selections for chocolate lovers and other sweet tooths! If you can't make up your mind, ask about the dessert samplers.
We are also proud to have participated for our 3rd year in the Dining Out For Life event that is held every April. We hope you can join us this year, Thursday, April 30th, 2015.
